The department has well qualified and dedicated Faculty members, committed technical staffs and enthusiastic students, which makes the department one of the sought-after departments for the aspiring Engineering Graduates. The department is actively involved in research and consultancy works and conducts regular FDPs, conferences, expert talks and workshops. The department ensures the overall development and employability of graduates to find careers of their choice\/pursuit of knowledge by providing training programs in various areas of Civil Engineering.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 500; font-size: 110%; text-align: justify;\">MoU is signed with Uralungal Labour Contract Co-Operative Society Limited (ULCCS) as a part of Industry and Institution interaction, which will provide an insight into the latest developments\/requirements of the industries.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 500; font-size: 110%; text-align: justify;\">The department is also equipped with nine engineering laboratories for the projects and consultancy works such as concrete mix design, material quality testing, soil investigation etc. The department is undertaking soil investigation works for Kerala PWD as the institution has got empanelled by PWD.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 500; font-size: 110%; text-align: justify;\">The department has opened Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) Student Chapter to give exposure to various technological and practical aspects in the field and thus to empower the students to face the endeavours. K. Johny, Ms. Geethu Lakshmi P. G., Ms. Fathima Sheejath P.V. and Mr. Justin Varghese of final year CE participated in an International conference on technical challenges in instrumentation, Computer science, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Electrical engineering at Christ Knowledge city, Mannoor, April 22nd 2015.
